BFA in ceramics and glass, class of 2001

When you first came to UIUC did you know for sure what you wanted to do as a major/career?

Yes.

How many majors/careers did you "go through" during your years here and how did you finally come to a choice?

I fell in love with glass casting but I returned to school to study ceramics. I extended my time in the BFA program to do the coursework to satisfy a major in both areas of the crafts department.

What was your first job after you earned your degree?

Graduate teaching associate at The Ohio State University while working on an MFA in ceramics.
